"Somewhere Cows Are Looking for Me"

I saw on TV last night Joel Osteen's message on Explosive Blessings and it was all about the creative ways that the Universe can give you money:
Victoria and I used to travel to India with my father quite a bit. One time I met a young pastor that was very poor. He didn't have running water. He didn't have electricity. He lived out on this field in this small hut. Right next door, there was a man that had a large farm, with hundreds of cows and a lot of crops, and he would sell milk and other vegetables to people in the village. But this man was very harsh and unkind and he would take the prices up much higher than they should have been just to show people that he was in control and he was the boss, and often the people would have to go without food.

But one day, about 10 of his cows got out and came over to the property where the pastor and his family lived. Understand, having a cow was a big deal—you'd have milk and you'd have other products that you could sell to other people. When that owner saw that his cows were out, he got some of his workers to go out and bring the cows back to his property. The next day those same 10 cows came back to the pastor's land. This happened again and again, day after day. For some reason, those cows just wanted to be with this pastor.

Finally that owner said, "You know what? Forget about it. Just let him have the cows. It's not going to hurt anything."

Of course the pastor saw it as a sign from God. He started selling milk and other dairy products to people in the village, but he sold them much less expensive than that other man. Before long, people were lined up at his door and his business began to grow, and he bought more cows and more equipment.

Several years later, that other farmer came over and said, "You know what? I can't compete with you anymore. Why don't you just take over my farm?" He bought that man's property for a fraction of the price.

But listen, it all started because those 10 cows came over and would not leave his property. What is that—the wealth of the ungodly being transferred to the hands of the righteous.

Quit wondering and worrying how it's ever going to work out, thinking, Oh, I don't have the connections. I don't have the education. Listen, God knows how to have your cows find you. What has your name on it—the contracts, the businesses, the ideas, the influence, the clients—eventually, they will find their way into your hands.

When you see somebody that's successful that doesn't honor God, that doesn't walk in integrity, don't ever be envious. In the back of your mind, you can think, You know what? They may be working for me. They may be building a business with my name on it. They may be earning funds that God's going to drop into my hands. Our attitude should be, Right now, somewhere cows are looking for me. Promotion is looking for me. Explosive blessings are coming my way...

You gotta know right now something is looking for you. Something already has your name on it. If you will just keep being your best, honoring God, being a blessing to others, dreaming big, eventually it's going to find its way into your hands. Remember, God knows where the hidden treasure is. He knows where the opportunities are, the contracts, the ideas you need to fulfill your destiny. Some of you have been stuck in a rut, thinking that you've reached your limits. God is saying, "Where you are is not permanent, I have explosive blessings coming your way, blessings that are going to thrust you to a new level."

I want you to go out expecting to rise higher, expecting to pay your house off, expecting to be a bigger giver, expecting those cows to come finding you. If you will release your faith like that, you might as well get ready. Let me declare it over you—you're going to see an explosion of God's goodness. It's going to be sudden, widespread increase. You're going to experience the surpassing greatness of God's favor. It's going to thrust you to a level higher than you ever even dreamed of. I believe it and declare it over each one of you in the name of Jesus. And if you receive it, can you say Amen?
Amen!

The Universe Repeats: Just Be You

I did a reading this morning on a woman who had a lot of foreign energy in her space that did not allow her to really hear and accept what the other readers and I were communicating to her. As one of the other readers said, she just sat in a state of disbelief the whole time.

Afterwards I was driving home and I was thinking about that and still looking at what happened from the point of view of what she was like and why would she spend money to not believe something. But I accepted the fact that that's her right to be how she wants to be.

Then I suddenly saw the connection between how she was and the intention that I had made prior to the reading for what I wanted to get out of it—it was to allow myself to receive what the Universe is trying to give to me, to trust in the process of life. She came for a reading to get answers to questions that she had, but she practically put up her hand and said no, when we tried to tell her what we saw. And that's exactly what I'm doing, too! I'm asking the Universe for all these things that I want and I'm basically putting up my hand and saying no to a lot of them, either not believing I can have them or in some way resisting the natural flow and not allowing them to come. When I realized that I laughed and laughed, because it's so true!

Then I said to the Universe, "Hey, I don't want to resist anymore. Help me. Tell me how I can relax and let my things come to me." Right then, a minivan merged over to the lane next to mine and the license plate on it said:
JUS BE U

Moonmoon Goes Gaga

Here's another thing I can check off my Goals for 2010. I had written in my Goddess Workbook/Planner that I would like to see very creative shows, like Lady Gaga. I also told the Universe that I'd like It to make it happen, and two weeks ago my friend emailed me and said he and his friends had all planned to go, but his friends bailed and just gave him their two tickets, would I like to go? And they are really good seats! Would I??? Hahaha!

Gaga Bus
I believe that could possibly be my own shadow in the corner there,
which makes this an even cooler picture!

We sat behind this family of Dad, hip Mom, and two pre-teen girls dressed kinda rocker-punk, with torn tights and tiny top hats with a lacey veil. Then these vampires who had seats on their same row arrived and the family had to stand up to give them room to get through. When they were all situated, the mom asked the vampires if she could take a picture of them. So the vampires posed for her. Then one of the vampires took a picture of the little daughter—so cute! During the show when Gaga told everyone to put their paws up, the dad would comply and wave his arm in the air. And intermittently throughout the night, the Dad and the older daughter would high-five each other—I love it!

The show was awesome. There was a lot of blood and gore and dancing and fire. I've seen Gaga in interviews where she talks about how much she loves her fans, and she really does and it shows. She comes across very genuine. I like her.

Oh, and I like all the over-the-top stuff, too. I have been thinking, and it was reinforced last night while watching all the people in their outfits, that it should be Halloween all the time—people should just dress however they want to express themselves everyday. I can see myself in Mickey ears and fairy wings. Then I go to the neighborhood store riding my pink bike with a flowery basket to put my purchases. So fun! And just the freedom of expression is really priceless.

"If You're Bold Enough to Believe, I'm Bold Enough to Agree with You."

The Universe is continuing to support me in finding my people. I caught Joel Osteen's message Sunday night on, what else, Connecting with the Right People, and love this story he told:
In Mark Chapter 5, Jesus was about to go another city to pray for a little girl that was very sick. Word soon came back saying, "You don't need to come, she's already died." Jesus said, "Don't worry about it. She'll be okay. We're going to come anyway." The scripture says Jesus would not let anyone go with him, except Peter, James, and John. That was his inner circle. Those other believers, they were good people, they loved the Lord, but Jesus said, "I only want these three people to go."

Why was that? Jesus knew when he got to the room where the little girl was dead, he needed people that wouldn't question who he was, people who wouldn't say, "Are you sure you're the son of God? Have you ever done this before? What if it doesn't work? Do you have a back-up plan?"

No, when you're in the heat of the battle, when you're in a situation where you need God's favor, you need divine healing, you need the legal situation to turn around, you can't afford to have people in your inner circle that are saying things like, "Do you really think you're going to get well? My grandmother died of that same thing." "Do you really think you're going to have an Ephesians 3:20 week? Have you seen the economy?" Or, "I know you're praying that your child will turn around. I don't mean to be negative or anything, but seems to me like they're doing worse than ever."

No, you need people that know who you are, people that are joined in spirit with you, people that will say, "Hey, you know what? If you're bold enough to believe, count me in, I'm bold enough to agree with you." "If you say you're going to get well, I'll put my faith with yours. Father, let it happen." "If you believe you can overcome that addiction, I'm not gonna tell you ten reasons why you can't do it, my declaration is you are well able." See, you need people that will come into agreement with you and release their faith, not people that will tell you what you can't do and release their doubt.

Jesus got to the room where the little girl was. Everyone was so distraught. You can imagine—they were crying, weeping, sorrow. Jesus looked at them and said, "Don't be upset. She's not dead. She's only asleep." Their weeping turned to mocking him, making fun of him, "What do you mean she's not dead? Of course she's dead."

What Jesus did next is extremely significant. I believe it's one of the keys to living a life of victory. It says in Mark 5:40, "They laughed and jeered at him, but Jesus put them out." Notice, Jesus asked them to leave. He showed them the door. He knew the importance of having people close to him that understood his destiny. His attitude was, "I don't need your doubt. I don't need you questioning me. I don't need you telling me what I can't do. I'm going to surround myself with people of faith, people that understand my assignment."

You may be around people today that are constantly pulling you down, telling you what you can't become, why you can't be successful. Understand it's scriptural to show them the door. It may be difficult, but you have to have the attitude, "I cannot fulfill my destiny with your critical spirit. I can't accomplish my God-given dreams with you constantly pulling me down. Now, I love you, you're a good person, but I can't have you in my inner circle, I'm gonna love you from a distance."

That's what Jesus did. He didn't allow anyone to go in, except the girl's parents and his inner circle, Peter, James, and John. He got in there and spoke to the little girl, and she came back to life.

But think about this—Jesus could've healed her in front of the crowd, with them laughing, mocking, jeering at him. He's the son of God, he could do anything. But I believe Jesus wanted to illustrate this principle: Who you have in your inner circle is extremely important. If Jesus went to the trouble to ask everyone to leave except the right people, if he took the time to weed out the doubters, the people that would question him, the people that just wanted to be critical, if he was that concerned about his inner circle, surely you and I should be that concerned about our own.
I love that! He's so funny!
